Grappling
A downloadable game for Windows
I wanted to create a 3D grappling mechanic using camera direction as grappling anchor selector.
So I first prototyped it in 2D using mouse screen position to emulate the 3D camera direction. I had a blast testing the feature in 2D (way more than in 3D...) so I decided to expand on the 2D concept before actually doing anything with it's 3D counterpart...
Controls are simple: just aim your cursor at one of the spheres, and click to dash toward it. Press escape at any time to exit the game.
There's only 5 levels for now, mostly for tutorial and stage-progression prototyping purpose.
Even so, feedback is welcome (and encourage!), I'd like to have some inputs regarding the feel of the grappling, the readability of the scenes, etc...
I plan on adding more challenging levels in the incoming days/weeks, so please stay tuned!
